Over Alex

the saloon which triggered a lifelong story used as ceremonial car during my sisters wedding with father Gerrit as driver
Born in the Netherlands in 1964, Alex van der laan was introduced to the big flagship of Turin when his father Gerrit van der Laan decided to buy a silvery grey manual shifted saloon in 1973. The beginning of a lifelong journey of chasing, finding, saving and restoring both saloons as coupes. The first couple of saloons were even given due to the terrible low value that by the way never changed. Some 65 saloons so far passed his hands in all kind of conditions and 49 coupes. Nowadays Alex advises and shares his knowledge with owners around the world, free of charge. this website is designed to share mainly technical information, publish (GOOD!) sources who provide parts for normal prices and projects that were done in his lifetime. Also invited are owners who restore their 130’s to send their story with pictures to share with other’s.
